Lessons

During my time in Toastmasters I've learned a number of important lessons. I occasionally write those lesson down and share them on my site. Perhaps you also have lessons you've learned and would like to share with other Toastmasters. If so, please e-mail me your work and I'll consider adding it (though I do reserve the right to make editorial changes).

Evaluations One area of our meetings where we too often fall short is evaluations. Not that the evaluation itself is so bad, but it is presented in an off-the-cuff mannor that is not a good representation of the Toastmaster ideal. This lesson will give you a few ideas for making your evaluations more memorable.

Killer Introductions You have to introduce several speakers at the next meeting. What do you say? If you've ever wanted tips on presenting Killer Introductions, here is some advice.

Stagefright  This HTML document presents some of the most important tips I know for decreasing stage fright. If you need help taming those butterflies, take a look at this page (or print it to give to a new member who's having butterfly problems).
