well folks....its been a long run...9 years this page has been up. I no longer consider myself a Wiccan, although i still celbrate the festivals with my wiccan friends. I think that we all run into a time where we realize that religion is not necessarily the best way to talk to the divine. I have reached that point. I still follow the path the gods lay before me, but I choose not to wear the chains of religion. A lot of what brought this about is seeing from the inside that just like the christian church, there are the true believers, those who say they believe but only give lip service, and those who are just lost. Many of the leaders of the wiccan movement are of the second caste. This saddens me. But it helped me realise one very important thing: We all worship the divine in our own ways, they hear us and acknowlege us. Ritual is nice, and feels good but is un-necessary. May Danu's light guide you my friends. There will be no more updates for this page. It will stay alive only because I believe that the information though out dated belongs out there...sorta like that old library book the librarian wont throw away. July 13, 2006. PS another reason this hasn't been updated in forever and I can't ever do it, is because im in college....lots of work. This is a page dedicated to helping teens find the information needed and not be led astray by advertisements. I am 23 years old and know how hard it is for a teen to find reliable info about paganism and Wicca. May the Goddess and her Lord help you on your journey. I found Wicca, quite by accident. I stopped going to a christian church when I was 10...I saw the hypocricy for what it was. between 10 and 12 I did a lot of soul searching and reading on the the subject of religion. From Taoism, to Islam. In time the beliefe of reincarnation omplanted itself into my psyche. I knew in my heart of hearts that that was my truth. Around the age of 12 a friend gave me the book Celtic Magick, by D.J. Conway. The religious thoeries and beliefs clicked with something old and deep within me. I had found my religion.

It took a long time for me to gain the knowledge I have. From searching public libraries for books that were listed in the computer but overdue for many months (obviously stolen), to working in my school snackbar to get money to buy some of the harder to find books. A long trek was in front of me. And the internet did not help. There was/is no guide for the teenager, and that upsets me. Only just recently did The Covenant of the Goddess address the subject, and I admire authors like Silver Ravenwolf for her pioneering in her field to bring the Craft to the young. WE ARE A NEW GENERATION, WE ARE THE ONES WHO WILL RESCUE THE PLANET, AND BRING THE GODDESS RELIGION BACK TO WHAT IT SHOULD BE.

There are things we must always remember. Christianity has a strong foothold in this country. Those of the christian religion who wish us and other non-conforming groups harm, are what will be our downfall. We must fight back. We must not let ourselves fall into another period of oppression. No, I am not saying burn down a christian church (remember the Rede, and just think of the Karma involved), I am saying, know your rights and know them well. You have the right to practice any religion you choose. Period, no arguements. WE must start our own organizations paralell to the Christian Coalition. We need to start lobbying for ourselves. I hope my "call to arms" has not frieghtened anyone, and I hope some of you will take it to heart. If you have any comments please feel free to pose such in my Guestbook.

It seems many of you have gotten the wrong idea about my page. If any of you know how to analyze what was written you would realize that this page has in no way stated the I hate christian. I have stated that they are strong within this country, and they they have the power to make things happen. We do not. We have not, and if the comments I have received are correct, are to lulled into a sense of false peace, as well as taking the fact that we need to fight for our right as going against the Rede, that we will not gather together and make ourselves known. We will not lobby for our rights. That is fine. Let George W. Bush ban those in the military from practicing Wicca. Perhaps it is the wake up call that you need.
