AIRCRAFT CARRIER RAINIER?
According to Bill Shelton, it happened in Korea when a Marine F-9F Panther (probably the coolest looking plane ever) pulled out of a bombing dive so low that he brought 24 feet of North Korean telephone line back to base with him. Rainier, (redesignated as CVAE-5 ?) was tasked with bringing the plane back to Sasebo for inspection. "Duck" Bringing F9F to Rainier : F9F Being Loaded
