My Other Stuff!

Okay, you've met the sane, everyday person that I put up in front of all those people outside of my own little world. Unfortunately, I tend to get a little ditzy from time to time. (Must be the blond hair.....)There'll be times that I'll be found giggling for absolutely no reason at all! The littlest thing can set me off onto another giggle fit..... anything at all..... like toilet paper..... (I'm still not sure why...) or I can just start bouncing all over the place repeating the Tiggers song. (Thanks Mowgli!) More often you'll find me sitting in front of my computer.... talking to it. Either I'll be swearing at it like a bikers 'ol lady or talking sensuously to it like it's my long time lover. Well, you out there who have had a computer for a while know what I mean!

I've met many people on mIRC, if you haven't been on it yet you don't know what your missing! There are serious people looking for others to exchange ideas out there in mIRC land.... although I don't think I've met them yet. GollyGirl has met many online..... what she has met is yet to be determined! My Wav 'Habit'

Many of you know that I enjoy trading and playing wavs. (What can I say I'm a waving fool!) My signature wav sums up some of my stupidity pretty good and it's pretty funny to say the very least. For those of you who haven't ever been on a wav channel I'll explain it slightly. When you first join the channel you get the usual greeting message from the op of the channel plus a few others who are regulars there. (don't worry, they only seem strange... actually they're usually a lot stranger!) Then you'll start to see messages like this: * MelMilkman ! has another wav for you! Grab it while you can! (twisted.wav 32.5 bytes, 10.2secs) What you're supposed to do if you want this wav is type: !MelMilkman twisted.wav and he'll send it to you through DCC Send (direct client to client send). How does he do this? I thought you'd never ask!!! Well... that's easy! Usually they have a program running parallel to their IRC program that helps them not only send wavs out through the channel but also keep up with the wavs others are sending. There's a program out there called WavGet that does this. That's what I use when I'm hunting wavs (I now have over 43megs of them!) and it makes it easier to keep up. Huggers my friends!!

Many people have asked me: "Where did you get the graphics for your website?" Well, I got them from all over the place. I still scan the Web for different artwork, backgrounds, buttons, bars, and animations. I'm not that talented enough to make my own graphics (although I wish I could!!) so I swipe them or when I see that they are copywritten I ask permission to use them as I did with: The Art of Jonathon Earl Bowser Fantasy Art & Illustration by Sue Dawe! The Artwork of Montserrat But sometimes they are free domain (which means to be used by the public) so I download them and save them onto my computer.
