I was born in 1968, the year Barbra Streisand won an Oscar for "Funny Girl", Jacqueline Kennedy married Aristotle Onnasis, the Apollo 8 team first orbited the moon and "Forward Pass" won the Kentucky Derby (that's for my Joy!!).

Plus, the airwaves were filled with the sounds of Dionne Warwick and Sergio Mendes ("Fool on the Hill").

I met my wonderful barkada (Eileen, Rocky, Joygirl [as opposed to Joyboy], Gina, Tracy, Reena, Ma-le, Risa, Annisa, RC, Doray and Gaya) at Benedictine Abbey School where I spent my grade school and highschool years.

At the Ateneo de Manila University, I learned about life from, among others, the dorm group (Rooms 105 and 106!!) and the Guidon people [while earning my BS Legal Management (1988) and Juris Doctor (1993) degrees in the process].

I am now a Senior Associate of Carpio Villaraza & Cruz Law Offices. My areas of practice are Intellectual Property Law and Corporate Law. We're a full service law firm with 14 partners and 30 associates.

In connection with my work, I am the incumbent Secretary of the Licensing Executives Society Philippines for 1998-2000 and the Secretary of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines - Pasay Paranaque Las Pinas and Muntinlupa Chapter for 1997-1999.

I am concurrently the Chief of Staff of my dad, Congressman Ignacio R. Bunye of the Lone District of the City of Muntinlupa.
