Teaching School I guess from the time I started playing school with my dolls, I knew I would someday have my own classroom. This is my 22nd year as a teacher and Iove it more today than ever. It is more of a challenge now. The world is rapidly changing and the pressures are great. My present classroom is filled to more than capacity....25, with my new one on Monday. For Kindergarten and first grade that is an overload. There is never enough time for all that needs to be done! Our days are busy and noisy and although frustrating, still fulfilling. When you hear a child read for the first time, it is impossible not to feel a sense of accomplishment!
