Camp Selah, Warwick, MA
Over the past decade Camp Selah has meant a great deal to me. At least twice a year I have set aside private time to study, pray and plan at the camp.
There is something very special about a camp dedicated to the glory of God; it is a wonderful place to get closer to God. I have camped at Selah in the dead of winter and the hot of summer and each time thoroughly enjoyed my time alone with God.
On numerous occasions I was privileged to bring some youth groups to the camp. The four cabins are large and comfortable and very private. The near-by lake is a source of fun and fond memories. The creek that runs along the camp is beautiful and a source of pure water and sounds wonderful! Many teens have grown closer to our Lord and others have begun a personal relationship because of Camp Selah.

Camp Selah truly is a blessing.
Many of the students in my youth group hadn’t been on an extended “church” trip before, but they have all assured me that they would more than gladly do it again.
Our group used Selah as an alternative to the district-led camp, which we felt was not going to meet our group’s needs. I can say with complete confidence that we made the right choice.
Our teens were free to be themselves, enjoy growing together with their peers, and more importantly felt comfortable enough to use the time we had at camp to draw closer to God. From the intimate sunrise devotionals where the students found themselves a private place in the cool of the morning on a log or by the creek, to the large group activities where the students enjoyed fellowship in an easy and accepting atmosphere with their peers; Camp Selah offered all that I could have ever needed for youth camp.
We dubbed this year’s camp ‘Encounter06’, and I am happy and privileged to be able to say that Camp Selah made that encounter nothing less than a success. We fully intend on making Camp Selah a regular fixture in our program.

Here are some additional comments by those who have utilized Camp Selah:
If a person likes to camp out, Selah is a wonderful place; the quiet and solitude were wonderful. We were corporately and separately blessed by our time at Selah - the guys loved the camp. (Men's Group from Dudley, MA)
I felt that for a church of our size, Selah was ideal both from a cost perspective and from what it has as facilities. We liked the intimate atmosphere, the quiet and solitude.
We had such a wonderful time of fellowship and worship. We all felt that Selah was a beautiful, peaceful haven from the world - I will always be grateful for the way God ministered to me; He knew what was coming up in my life, and He used that time to strengthen my spirit in preparation.
We had such good times and family memories that we will all cherish. We loved exploring the dirt road; our 6 year old boy and 4 year old girl played in the brook; collected newts, which are now pets in a glass tank at home; loved swimming, boating, swimming. My husband and I enjoyed snorkeling as the water was so clean. (We now attend the new church in Sunderland - Connecticut Valley Assembly of God.)
We found the privacy and beauty of the area inspiring - a place where worshipping God seems so easy as breathing.
We feel that any group could enjoy the peace and seclusion offered here.
The entire weekend was a blessing to all of us.
We had a great time and it was very reasonable to stay here.
Some groups might want more plush accommodations - for us it was perfect.
The beach and the boats were great! We also enjoyed the sleeping and kitchen facilities.
For a small group the price and the facilities are perfect!
We would be happy to recommend Selah because it's an inexpensive opportunity for couple to get away.
Selah is a peaceful, quiet and private setting.
We liked everything about Selah - a peaceful setting, comfortable cabins, beautiful woods, good swimming. We loved it!
For a small to medium sized church such as ours, cost and ease are usually make-or-break issues. I could not have asked for a better more effective retreat, and Selah was integral to this. We fully intend to visit Camp Selah again.
