Apparel Industry Partnership
The Apparel Industry Partnership (AIP) was initiated by the White House in August
1996 to take steps to protect workers worldwide and to give the public the
information it needs to make informed purchasing decisions.
The Partnership is comprised of apparel and footwear companies, a prominent U.S.
university, human rights groups, labor, religious organizations and consumer
advocates.

our sense of hopelessness.
Small businesses have even more political clout than the average consumer. As a web based business, it is very easy to
champion the causes you believe in, raising awareness, and putting pressure on the people or institutions that make decisions. It
