With typical Rommel daring, the bombers (HE 111's) will drop their payloads just ahead of the advancing panzers. The Lufwaffe has also provided Air Liaison Officers (A.L.O.) to travel with the leading elements of the army. The A.L.O. will allow the Luftwaffe to provide accurate close air support. The A.L.O. must have a line of site on the intended target(s) for the Stuka to have a normal chance of hitting the target. If he does not have LOS, then the Stuck attacks at a -30% on the to hit percentile dice roll. There will be six Stukas airborne and circling the battlefield by the end of turn three. The may be called in singly, or all at once. Once a Stuka has dropped its 1,000 pound bomb, it leaves the area.
