Bush I read the information written by "International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War" about the effects of a eventual war on Iraq (more than 500.000 deads). It is available at: http://www.ippnw.org/CollateralDamage.html How can the country with more weapons and the hightes production of weapons, attack one of the poorest nations (126th place of 174 in 2000 with UN HDI) alleging that they have weapons? The report estimates the amount of deaths in Gulf War between 142.500 and 206.000, including between 3.500 and 15.000 death civilians during the war. More than 47,000 children under five died due to the economical restriction that followed the war (today the death rate for children under five is 1 of each 10). Why during that war, some building dedicated to health and water treatment were destroyed? I write to ask you, to avoid killing people. Life is sacred, it is a gift from God. We have to respect it.
