SUMMER INSTITUTE EXPERIENCE

The Summer Institute on High Performance Computing is hosted by the Army High Performance Computing Research Center, University of Minnesota for undergraduate students. The objective of the summer institute is to expose undergraduate students to numerical modeling and high performance computing in computational fluid dynamics and environmental modeling. I have taught a course in groundwater mechanics and numerical modeling of flow and transport in porous media during the 1995 and 1996 Summer Institutes (June - August). I have supervised research projects on high performance computing to six undergraduate attendees during 1995 and eight during 1996.
