Wands: the element of Fire; the direction South; the season of Autumn; the realm of Thought.
Wands represent mental activity, thought, the conscious mind, plans, the beginning of new projects, creation, growth, the first stage of development.

Ace of Wands
Positive Aspects: A creative beginning; a new career; new opportunities; new interests; new social contacts; a new birth; a new journey; new growth.

Reversed Aspects: Setbacks in a new endeavor; a journey is postponed; plans canceled; stagnation; depression; lack of new ideas.

Two of Wands
Positive Aspects: Strength of will; influence over another; success in an endeavor; good results from a new beginning; proper application of knowledge.

Reversed Aspects: Loss of interest; controlled by another; lack of faith in an endeavor; fear of failure; loss of direction; more knowledge is needed; impatience should be avoided.

Three of Wands
Positive Aspects: Business skill; negotiations; successful partnerships; assistance from an influential source; organizational ability; progress in creative plans.

Reversed Aspects: Treachery; be wary of an offer of assistance; caution against arrogance; guard against carelessness; ineffective communications; focus energies.

Four of Wands
Positive Aspects: Happy family life; well-established home; satisfying work; success; full social life; contentedness; peace; romance; marriage.

Reversed Aspects: Insecurity; loss of prosperity; business declining; incomplete happiness; unfulfilled romance; separation or divorce; discontent with work.

Five of Wands
Positive Aspects: Competition is strong; obstacles to overcome; maintain courage; quarrels and strife; strong desire for a change in conditions.

Reversed Aspects: Conflicts and strong tensions; possibility of a lawsuit; self-confidence is lacking; lack of harmony at home and work; contradictions.

Six of Wands
Positive Aspects: Triumph after a struggle; obstacles overcome; advancement; victory through diplomacy; increasing harmony in relationships; possible journey; rewards for labor.

Reversed Aspects: Bad news of another's victory; rewards are delayed; too much pride in success; winning without gain; false victory; apprehension and fear of failure; journeys are delayed.

Seven of Wands
Positive Aspects: Surmounting challenges; rely on oneself; effort is needed in the face of difficulty; mental control; gaining advantage through courage and perseverence.

Reversed Aspects: Taking on too much at one time; indecision and hesitation; don't let oneself be taken advantage of; feeling of incompetence; lack of mental focus.

Positive Aspects: Quick responses; a swift journey; rapidly approaching a goal; new ideas are well-received; new arrivals or attractions; balance of work and social interaction.

Reversed Aspects: Inactivity; jealousy and domestic disputes; no messages or travel at this time; imbalances in work and pleasure cause failures; delays cause frustration.

Positive Aspects: Preparedness; strong self-defense; good health; strength held in reserve; obstinancy; wise actions; guarded against loss.

Reversed Aspects: Unpreparedness; refusal to protect self; ill health; weak character; instability; open to abuse; unwise actions.

Positive Aspects: Determination to succeed; successfully bearing heavy burdens; major changes at work or socially; refusal to bend under extreme pressure.

Reversed Aspects: Shifting burdens to another; disloyalty; a desire to ruin another's happiness; selfish goals; stagnation at work or socially.
