Suacer Marmolejos-I graduated from 143 in 1999. My homeroom teacher was Ms. Perez. I am currently living in Puerto Rico. I have a lot of memories from that year. I remember Mr. Morfe, one of the best math teachers I've every had. Ms. Torres, I liked her class because she made everything fun, especially the "Wintering in the Bronx" Project we made. Ms. Perez, the funniest literacy teacher I've ever had (sorry for not reading the 25 books). Ms. Young, so generous and tender, but if you got on her nerves you could hear her screaming throughout the hallway. Ms. Crisostomo, I've never liked social studies classes, but that year she made it interesting. Mr. Gonzalez, rest in peace, we will always miss you. Mr. Gregory, thanks for making me a better musician. Now I know how to play the flute.
I want to thank all the staff from MS 143 that year for making it very special. Well, I have nothing else to say, just that if you were in my classroom that year, please contact me (if you can). I was in 434. Bye. |

Heriberto "Eddie" Mendoza-My favorite classes were science and history. I remember Ms. Elbaz teaching science, and I really enjoyed her class, no matter what was said. I am the father of two children - my son, Matt, and my daughter, Lissette. I am an electrician in training, and would love to say 'hello' to all the other graduates out there. I also want to remember a great person, Benjamin Bernard, who left our world too soon. My condolences go out to his mother and family. We all loved you Benjamin. May you rest in peace! |
