| Angela Phipps-Since graduating from 143 in 1986 (it was Junior High then!) I went on to study music at LaGuardia High School, and finished high school in Seaford, Delaware. I then moved to Washington D.C. to study music education at Howard University, where I received my bachelors degree in 1994. I am currently an elementary school music teacher, vocal and instrumental, and owe my formative instrumental music experience to Ms. Zuckerman, my cello teacher for three years. I teach in Riverdale, MD and live in Temple Hills, MD with my 5 year old son, Jawanza. This marks my seventh year as an educator. I have many fond memories of my experiences at Tetard!! (yearbook staff, valedictorian 1986)It was such a surprise to see so many familiar names on the staff list!!
