Where the 2 year vocational colleges fit in

So the vocational colleges are outside of the main stream of the education. But those students who can not afford 4 years of univ. or college education or those who condier 4 years too long go to 2 year vocational school. I work for one of them, Kyushu Electrical College.

Are there similar vocational colleges in your country?

This is a question for you. Plase let me know.
