• Carp Streamers May 5th is the children's day , a national holiday in Japan. From mid April thru mid May you can see many Carp Streamers like this floating in the Spring sky in Japan. The Carp Streamers indicate that the family have a baby boy or boys in the house. A big one like this cost about 100,000yen.
