DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR LORD OF THE FLIES BOOK TO NEXT WEEK'S CLASS FOR THE DISCUSSION.
Write an essay (minimum of three pages - space and a half, Times font, size 14) on one of the major characters in Lord of the Flies.
Your essay will be graded primarily on the depth of thought demonstrated and on your ability to communicate with me how this novel made you think, or how it might even possibly alter your view of life.
Here is what I expect to be included in the essay.:
Discuss your character's weaknesses and strengths.
Discuss how your character interacts with the others? How does he treat them? How do they treat him?
Discuss what you think your character represents in the story.
Explain your feelings and thoughts about your character.
Discuss what you think the author, William Golding, is trying to say through your character.
