   MY SWEET CHILD
My sweet child, where are you?
On this distant promontory, perched above the valley,
down beneath the racing clouds whose temporary tears
expose the wondrous works of God
and futile efforts of man both diminished with distance.
Is it a place like this above the highest human spheres,
where you live in Heaven; or, among the Isle of the Blessed Dead,
does Charon let you steer his little craft?
Have you already forgotten your Mom and Dad?
Did the river Lethe’s dark waters
harden your heart to our tears? Oh, God,
as much as it hurts, I suppose its for the best,
to spare you from my misery.

How could your sweet innocence be stained,
how could you deserve this end?
Interrupting the subliminally tormented men,
and, deflecting the blade of Fate;
those who drove the hand with such hate
imagine the stains on their defiled souls!
Dearest one, have you returned, to where before life began?
Consumed with grief, I can’t help wishing
that where ever you are, you who have taken my heart,
you would return and comfort me
with your ghostly presence, a fleeting shadow,
or perhaps a sweet dream.

   WISTERIA
Your beautiful brown eyes
are sweet to the man
from the Willamette Valley,
like cool pools
in late Spring
where near by budding blossoms smell
on fragrant Wisteria vines.

   APRIL SHOWERS
Already there are sapphire days and dirt,
already colorful carpets cover the ground,
beyond the fading green flames that flicker in the Sunset, surging
great mountains glow like coals as twilight lengthens;
in little translucent tufts, the leaves gradually grow and grow
decorating the towering trees thin black limbs.

This monotony of blue weighs me down.
Spring is best savored after showers
surging forward in endless variety,
a pictures transforming green, contrasted
with festive explosions of red, yellow, blue and orange.

   RAINBOWS COLUMNS
Life plays a game only no one knows how to keep score,
and who eats chopped meat when you can afford steak?
The Gothic cathedrals that grow so incredibly high
embrace immense amounts of space where I float in childlike wonder.
   Light streams through stained glass windows.
   Once I fell in love, it was forever.

Time is a river comprised of humanity,
where people are turbulence that swirls around and disappears.
Tired of the grime that covers
over everything that’s part of the contemporary era.
   Shafts of rainbow color filter to the floor
   I am completely committed, it wont come again.

Rays penetrate deep pools of shadows
where love lurks afraid of loss, just beneath the surface of the eternal realm of reason.
Like some act in a play without a plot;
the infinity Archimedes almost discovered
   Mites randomly dancing in the gloom, Visions
   my youth play back in reverse. What smiling warmth.

Little light green leaves miraculously appear
from the middle of explosions of color; fallow fields erupt in fecund furrows,
that in the verdant valley, chess board of shadow and light
   Tiny flashes of light that quickly vanish.
   My dark form dense company stark contrast from the obtuse.

My melody was dissonant to the chorus
whose song about love, lacked lyrics;
vortices to noble ideas and eternal truths
as an award for my fight against maudlin mediocrity.
   Walled off in a colorful column of rainbow light
   where I’m hermetically sealed off from this day’s darkness.

   SEVEN BABY OWLETS
Peering forward like a near sighted fawn
I stared at the star glint moon bright boughs,
where seven baby owlets perched in the creaking forest
large and luminous, stark and staring floated seven sets
of disembodied eyes who brooded back
from the black at what this man was doing.

No sound but muted wonder
this dead head happily tripping along the river bank
the moon hung a lantern suspended between forest limbs,
reflecting back bubble bright floating on the water,
while the owlets sat lugubrious on their bough.

An amphitheater lit by large yellow luminaries,
silently watched my protean shape,
watched while felicitous white wings sprouted and flapped.
Observed how God departed,
flying in front of the moon, in that form.

   WINTER WOLVES
Still, the swollen waters of a muddy river
ravage me, and the reconciliation
of emerald grass and cherry blossoms, where in white reflections
snow’s blind corpse lies forgotten;

while, here among the smoldering ruins of night,
gentle sheep howl
with dripping red decapitated heads:

there inundated, in the tumultuous din,
of flooding hours, echo peals of thunder;
where between black trunks,
in dark forests, run Winter wolves.

   RUMOR MILL
   Rumor Mill believes that when people are losing their lives then issues pertaining to property rights take a subsidiary position. However, events relating to the Microsoft hearing are so important that they must be addressed. First, however, we need to review the events that led to the hearing. The following represents the Rumor Mill’s considered opinion.
   The hearing resulted after Microsoft introduced its new operating system. The new operating system was an improvement on their previously existing computer operating system. It offered the same basic features as before only with improvements that created greater efficiency and stability. Two key ingredients, which had resulted in the single most important factor in the improved productivity of the American service sector worker that had helped hold stagflation at bay. The result was the greatest non-war time economic expansion in this countries history. A result which was effectively utilized by the DEMOCRATIC PARTY, when it lead this countries economy and we were the envy of the World.
   The new operating system was designed to meet the needs of the computer operators. And, as anyone can tell you who owns a computer, one of the primary uses of our computers today is to interact with Internet. Microsoft designed an operating system with an operating system that addressed that need. It would have resulted in a modest 37% of market share mostly at the expense of America On Line, who would still have been the single largest provider with over 50% of the market share. However, that was not enough for the power behind AOL, whose avaricious factional objective was to totally dominate all of Internet. Rumor Mill asks you to sit back for a minute and consider what the market share is for America On Line, and what the market share for Intel , too. Why was Microsoft singled out for litigation? How come these other corporations aren’t, too. What makes them beyond the reach of the law?
   The consequence of that move was felt as the ramifications of this move became apparent. First, it represented an attack on the right of private property. Bill Gates, one of the richest men in the World, was going to have his entire life’s work stolen from him. Either, he had to partition his company and give the largest portion away. Or, he had to give the work of a life time, the companies trade secretes, away to his competitors for free. Second, it demonstrated how the legal system of the USA has been displaced by the radical right. Third, the move was an attack on market driven economies. If a participant of Microsoft’s size and stature were not safe, then why would anyone risk their money investing in Internet, if confronted with the highly likely and dubious prospect of having your property confiscated if you were successful. If you were not successful then you would lose your money, too. Any way investors looked at it, the business outcomes were to risky to warrant investing. The net effect of this was that all venture capitol dried up over night, and Internet commerce ran into a wall. In an area of new economic activity the factional interests of the you know who had managed to overcome the market dynamics, which should have functioned to attract capitol. Instead what transpired was Capitol flight, and an economic depression, which the REPUBLICANS have managed to extend for the first two years of their administration. In an area which according to them was insulated from down turns in the American economy, economic activity stagnated.
   The so called recovery is being undermined in a lot of ways by the REPUBLICAN administration. After finally trying to reluctantly roll back energy prices brought about by the REPUBLICAN PARTY’S ill advised effort to deregulate the energy markets, which resulted in a predictable constriction of suppliers and widespread surge in energy prices, the REPUBLICANS then have tried to destroy the single most important participant in the high tech. sector of the economy. This mind you was done at the very time when the REPUBLICANS were supposedly trying to improve the economy. It created a loss in confidence in the REPUBLICAN PARTY when they allowed an attack on MICROSOFT to continue in spite of the campaign rhetoric by King Bush Jr. to the contrary, a stupid attack that will eliminate the single most effective instrument in fighting to improve worker productivity rates, which still helps to hold inflation at bay to this very day; and, makes one wonder were the power lies in this administration.
   In our local propaganda journal, Mr. Gates has been attacked for not being contrite. What has he to be contrite for? He tried to defend himself in a kangaroo court proceeding, which was marked with among other travesties, a judge who stated what the outcome would be before the trial started, and attempts that were made designed to prevent the defendant from being able to defend himself. Or, was Mr. Gates supposed to be contrite for building better products that improved the quality of life for millions of people all over the World. Or, was Mr. Gate supposed to be contrite for having been primarily responsible for having developed Internet into the commercial Mecca that it was before the you know whose factional interests crippled it. The you know who have always followed a policy of if you can’t compete sue. This represents a continuation of that policy. A policy which has eroded our legal safeguards and undermined our property rights, and crippled the effective operation of the high technology markets.

   RUMOR MILL
   The Rumor Mill would also like the American public to consider the following issue for the upcoming election: SOCIAL SECURITY. The Rumor Mill believes that the REPUBLICAN PARTY wants to destroy it, and replace it with welfare for their mutual funds. Why else are we running around wasting American taxpayer money in Afghanistan. The Taliban are history and nobody can rule the country with out the permission of the radical right, which continues (just like they have since the era when the Soviet Union controlled their Kabul puppet states) to totally dominate the dissident movements of that country. And, we are now paying for the radical right’s efforts to drive peasants from their homes into refugee camps, in an effort to dominate their society at great tax payer expense. A continued expensive military presence, like we are currently engaged in, can not stop terrorist attacks. It would be more effective to approach the radical right and ask them to stop it, as they continue to dominate Middle East terrorism. Why not spend the money on our children in the form of better schools. Or, pay for medicine for our elderly. Or, balance the budget and live within our means.
Why ask for a tax cut for the wealthy if we are running budget deficits, which causes interest rates to rise and runs up the national debt. Both items will impair the effectiveness of our governments fiscal and monetary tools. All of these factors will undermined the solvency of SOCIAL SECURITY. It is the belief of Rumor Mill that the REPUBLICAN PARTY behaves as if they want the elderly to not have social security for a safety net; because, if they didn’t, then the elderly would have to work, there by expanding labor markets and forcing wages down. People will still try to retire, so they will have to invest in you know whose mutual funds. The fact that wages will be reduced to compete with third World labor markets will impair the workers ability to save, which means that not being able to retire the money will tend to stay in the retirement funds.
   If the American voter needs to see the consequences of this action they need look no farther than the business section of today’s propaganda journals. Discretely tucked away in a side column is an article mentioning briefly that the largest nonprofit bankruptcy case. A nonprofit organization The Baptist Foundation, not exactly a fly by night unethical organization, filed for bankruptcy. Its investors over 13,000 senior citizens stand to lose there money. Private accounts like this are the REPUBLICAN PARTY’S solution to this country’s retirement needs. The fact that this business was nonprofit and could function with lower costs wasn’t enough to save it and its investors from bankruptcy. The fact that it had religious and moral affiliations was not enough to protect its investors from the vagaries of the market. We need a financially solvent SOCIAL SECURITY. It represents a stabilizing factor for the economy. It constitutes a guaranteed level of demand for American goods and services. Without it depressions will be longer, just like the one we’ve been experiencing, only they will be worse and more frequent, too.
   The REPUBLICAN PARTY wants to privatize retirement. Bankrupting SOCIAL SECURITY and privatizing retirement is a huge mistake! It is far better to keep SOCIAL SECURITY solvent and intact and let citizens augment their retirement with private savings programs tailored to meet their personal circumstances.

   RUMOR MILL
   Humanity usually doesn’t universally agree on anything; however, there are certain behaviors which are held in ill repute by all freedom loving nations and individuals everywhere, and one such behavior is fraud. It is created by misdirecting others, who robbed of the truth make decisions and take ill advised courses of action based on misinformation, resulting, in extreme cases, in the individual who they might have been being robbed from the person. In the rank and file of vices are discovered certain vices that exist with the assistance of certain seduced virtues, and chief among these is that vice, which we’ve previously noted as being so devastating to Democracy, fraud.
   Rumor Mill believes that the radical right are preeminent in the World today at masking their responsibility for events that are then used to further their own factional interests. Further, the Rumor Mill contends that the radical right have systematically lied while deliberately pursuing their own factional interests. A recurrent example of this is the political violence we witness each election season In one instance this year they were said to have deliberately unleashed a young man that they had subliminally destabilized on a trusting community. The result was a combination rape-murder and a handsome payday for their operatives. A crime some believe they conspired to have committed. If that is true then they share the responsibility, just like any other individual who plans a crime and then does not actively try to stop its commission.
An interesting, insidious, subordinate factor in this case is the effort by the radical right to use this horrible crime to draw attention to another person they pretended was responsible with another series of rapes in another community some time ago. The facts in that instance, if true, are doubly damning, because the serial rapes were committed by another individual that the radical right had destabilized and were using as part of their anti-cocaine campaign. The radical right, while pretending to be in opposition, were
responsible for unleashing this monster on Tucson; and, then they cynically tried to blame their vicious crimes on another innocent third party, which was done after their rapist was finally tracked down. The tragedy of this entire operation was increased when the rapist in this instance killed himself rather than be apprehended, who then could have resolved all questions of who did what when. And, when after over a decade and a half of torturing and slandering this innocent individual certain facts started to surface the radical right still spitefully refused to clear up the wrong. This in spite of going around the country claiming to clear up past crimes, not for pleasure and profit, but in order to clean up the country. Unfortunately, these operations usually require causing another crime to occur in order to apprehend the criminal, a situation that causes twice as many crimes and twice as many victims, to say nothing of twice as much action and profit for the radical right.
   The facts in the Tucson case only bear review because they are in no way remarkable, but rather represent business as usual. And, only by reviewing the truth can the citizens in a Democracy determine whether the behavior of the radical right represents an appropriate alternative to the American law enforcement community and the American legal system. First, the rapist in Tucson always used a motorcycle to get away on. The individual accused never owned a motorcycle and never even had access to one. In fact as the radical right had to of known, with their extensive background check, that the unfortunate person they accused never even knew how to ride a motorcycle: talk about irony. Second, their rapist used crack during the commission of the detestable crimes, which was the basis of its utility for the radical right’s propaganda machine. The innocent individual never took any cocaine in any form while in Tucson, as a matter of fact the innocent person did not know anyone who either sold cocaine or used cocaine. A fact that the radical right had to of known considering their background check. In fairness to the radical right, this was before they had completely taken over the drug trade and replaced it with their own network. Another interesting fact was their repeated failures at trying to allure the innocent man into using cocaine. Third, the cost of cocaine is extremely expensive. Not only didn’t the individual not have the connections and the inclination, but the innocent party hadn’t the money. The innocent individual would have had to case out and commit several crimes to support such a habit, which he obviously could not have done not having the extensive amounts of time required. The innocent would have had to know a criminal in order to sell the stolen goods, which he did not. A fact that the radical right had to know because of the previously mentioned extensive background check. Fourth, the individual readily offered to submit to any genetics test to prove his innocence. Strangely, this offer was never accepted. One would wonder why if the answer were not so blatantly obvious. Fifth, the innocent individual early on, in an effort to clear his reputation, made a challenge, which was for any one who was directly involved with the false allegations to take a lie detector test to substantiate them. This should have been readily accepted in order to save the time and money of the radical right and clear up any potential miscarriage of justice. A miscarriage in justice that was becoming increasingly more obvious with every passing year. An offer the radical right to this day dares not accept. Sixth, was the refused suggestion of having the radical right check their operations records to cross check the rapes that they had caused, in order to clear up who was responsible. It would be a simple mater to check the crimes committed with operations records and payoffs, this should be fairly simple because back then the radical right still moved around in crews. If the records are not accessible then a check could be made, in the interests of truth and justice, on the financial records of the radical right agents who were involved in the operation for individual payments and thus establish responsibility and clear the reputation of the innocent individual. Seventh, the radical right have been alleged to have offered a multi million dollar settlement to this individual if he will drop the mater and begin employment with the radical right, and inversely if the innocent individual does not then he has been threatened with starvation and economic travail action which represents extortion of the most vile type. Why would the radical right be willing to pay off a serial rapist and take him into their employ, unless either they were lying and the person really was innocent, or if they were completely corrupted by power. The innocent individual’s refusal to date to participate is perfectly understandable, he is reluctant to be a part in travesties of justice that injure so many innocent people. People whose only crime seems to be their belief in ideas like liberty, equality, the right to be happy and Democracy. A portion of the above could fairly easily clear this mater up, but the radical right staunchly refuse. It is fairly obvious what they have to hide, as well as the damage it would do to their operations. The results speak for them selves that in spite of the statute of limitations for their operatives, the radical right refuse to do the right thing, because it would injure their intentions to continue with these sinful criminal operations.

   The laws of any civilized nation would condemn anyone to prison, because it is an intolerable act that strikes at the heart of Democracy. And, should anyone engage in such abominable behavior, as to deliberately slander an innocent citizen to cover up their own immoral crimes, and, to bear false witness against that innocent person, in order to provide propaganda for an excuse to persecute private citizens and rob them of there Civil Rights is unpardonable. It proves that truth and reason are not on the radical right’s side, otherwise the slander and all the rest of the corruption and vice ridden criminal behavior would not be necessary.
   Besides, it is extremely unwise in a country to promote and encourage, or even tolerate let alone wink at slander and cover up serious crimes like serial rape and murder. Because, who then is protected by law. If done for the sake of children, what child, in there turn, is safe from similar foul abuses. We morally bankrupt the country.
   What other crimes will soon be embraced by such depraved individuals. (See other Issues) Where Rumor Mill lives we’ve witnessed another heinous crime committed designed to further the radical right’s slanderous efforts, in yet another example of election year violence. What we’ve unfortunately seen is two attempts in a short period of time at an unusual crime, where an offspring attacks and tries to kill their parent/ grandparent. Both attacks occurred in just over a one month period of time. A concerted effort is made to make people think that the radical right are necessary to save society, and children particularly, from the menace of the crime wave. It becomes cruelly ironic when we learn of the Rumor Mill’s contention that the radical right has generated the crime wave, and used children as their victims ( because children need us indeed) for political propaganda purposes, to run law enforcement candidates. Two examples once again demonstrate a progressive decrease in the age of our victims, in the months before an election. First, a 13 year old girl, who it was reported to have refused to be prostituted for the radical right. Second, another alleged male perversion story only this time its a 10 year old boy. Third, a story of a little 8 year old girl murdered by a subliminally destabilized brother, in a domestic dispute with the father figure. This pattern is a remarkable coincidence to that which occurs every two years. Or, so we are supposed to believe, for before the last election two young women were murdered at about the same amount of time from the election as the 13 year old murder, and then it was followed up with a young boy being sexually abused and having his throat slit, and finally a small child was abducted and killed just a few weeks before the election. And, this is not the only time we have experienced escalating waves of violence in the months before elections.
   The Rumor Mill suggests that children are being victimized in two ways. The children are destabilized and then when the child commits the induced crime, often times on a parent or fellow child and/or classmate, the radical right uses their carefully planned cruelty as the pretext for their involvement. Also, the children are employed either as prostitutes, or as objects designed to be aversive, which results in child abuse that is either sexual or physical in nature. The radical right’s involvement is hypocritical at its worst and is self-serving and self-delusional at its best. A tragedy within the tragedies is the fact that the radical right never recognizes the irrational circular nature inherent in their evil efforts.
   “Your seers prophesied to you

   Finally, almost a foot note, we have in the same community witnessed two incidents, in approximately two weeks time, where two young men who where experiencing psychotic episodes broke into houses. The first time ended in tragedy with the police shooting the intruder on the porch. The second time a man breaks into a car and steals a bag; and, then, returns to the scene and breaks into a house occupied by a young woman and two small children. There he proceeded to try on clothes and start a small fire, while the inhabitants flee. Try and explain this numerical distribution pattern with statistics. There are always misguided individuals who will try and superficially attribute these type of incidents to drugs. But, how could the street drugs that the radical right’s drug network deals to the public explain episodes like this? With the exception of psychedelics and heavy mammal tranquilizers nothing brings on episodes like this, and, those drugs the radical right have not distributed for years. However, there are those who say that they have documented repeated instances of crimes committed by disturbed individuals which seem to fit into a pattern which indicates potential involvement of subliminal technologies. After escalating patterns of school violence, political violence and violence of children murdering parents instead of running away and parents murdering their children (see previous essays) when do coincidences quit being coincidental. Obviously, the REPUBLICAN controlled legislatures tough choices for budget cuts to social services have led to these scenarios, where disturbed individuals are on the streets who need help; but, these actions will undoubtedly play well for the tough on crime candidates of the Republican right stamp in this election, which certainly establishes a powerful motive. And, unfortunately, it is successful because of fraud, and the fact that the American voters are a good and trusting set of individuals, to the point of being naïve; and, the American voters will have forgotten. This is the belief of the Rumor Mill.
   Its Rumor Mills sincere opinion that matters are much worse than is generally known. The immoral criminal acts are deplorable. Never has a nation tolerated such flagrant abuses of power with the eagerness and ignorance of America. Bent on the destruction of their young and victimizing others children, they have lacerated their heart and swallowed poison for a cure. The radical right have proven yet again that the abuses of power far exceed any harm to society that any excesses of individual liberty possibly can. The radical right behavior borders on a cunning compound of rage and lunacy; they strive for total domination of our government, yet demonstrate neither the ability nor merit to obtain it. Consequently, we are forced to observe and endure their fraud, when they steal it.
   Were their movement a mere business or service by which the public might be free to choose to hire or not as any other, we could merely refuse to patronize them; however, if we stop and think about how it is the basis on which all norms and morays of a country are established and extended, that the persons entrusted with the execution of it aspire toward government domination and have engaged in fraud, extortion, rape, murder, every type of theft, grievous slander and every form of vice and criminal act that the lowest retches on Earth could conceive and practice. What worse curse could befall our country and what greater blessing than to be delivered from their oppression.
