- It has been a year since I have been in Singapore and I finally have
the time to put this part on my webpage.
Fabian was kind enough to invite Catherine and me to a climbing trip at Mt. Ophir in Malaysia. What an experience! I loved it!!! You may also go to AB's webpage at http://www.angelfire.com/ab/WilD/ for detailed and creative account of the trip that I was unable to do myself. :) |
We
took a train (after McDonald's dinner which I enjoyed only because of the
chilli sauce) across to Malaysia in the evening. Our guides, AB and
Kelvin, were sleeping/waiting for us on the station saving the spot so
that group #2 can all bunk out with them.
Because we needed to head out first thing in the morning, we had to sleep on the station. The floor was hard, it was bit cold, and we were in a constant battle with ten million and one bugs. As for sleeping, it was one of those when you couldn't tell if you were in or out of consciousness. Before the sunlight made its peak, we got up, washed up, packed and ready to go. This is a memoriable shot and my favorite one. Yes, the sky was pink. |
