This page is a 'standalone' version of the Nigeria section on our Areopagus homepage (which includes our other interests). Christina's family, the Oniah, are from Onitsha, Nigeria and we've recently visited the country. Our full (bird-orientated) trip report is now online, including detailed information about identification of Plain-backed and Long-legged Pipits at IITA Ibadan; the latter species is not documented for the country in the latest field guide of the area.
