#14 The Lone Ranger on Gunsight Mesa
The Lone Ranger on Gunsight Mesa

By Fran Striker

Once again the Lone Ranger and his steadfast Indian friend, Tonto, take over where ordinary forces of law and order leave off. This time it is the United States Government that requests the help of the masked rider.

On Gunsight Mesa is a valuable deposit of meteorological ore. Government men have made two separate attempts to ship some of the ore to scientists in Washington, D. C. On both occasions, the stagecoach carrying the ore was held up and the ore stolen by enemy agents of a foreign power.

The third shipment must get through, not only because it is desperately needed by the scientists, but also because should more of the ore fall into enemy hands, it might spell catastrophe to the United States.

The Lone Ranger's job is to get the ore through. How he does it, and at what cost to himself and Tonto, is a story so packed with action that it will hold you spellbound.
