This page is still largely under construction, mainly because I don't know a whole lot about my totem animals to begin with.
Chrissy's Totem Animals
The two totem animals that I am familiar with are the Cat, and the Panda.
From the cat, I have learned independence. I also seem to have gotten a good portion of the cat's indecision. (although that could be attributed to being a libra, too.) The cat was once very dominant as a totem in my life, but that is no longer so. Totems appear and disappear, sometimes re-appear. They no doubt have their reasons... For now, the cat has disappeared from my life. I still feel a connection to male, orange-tabby cats, though. They've been special to me since I was a child, and probably always will be.
The panda snuck up on me. He was there long before I realized that he was with me. He's quiet, a bit slow, and sometimes playful. Once I noticed that the panda was there, I realized that I knew nothing about pandas. I went to work researching them, and found that they live rather solitary lives. This doesn't stop them from being playful creatures, though. Pandas are only naturally found in China, which may explain my fasciation with the Orient - although I am more attracted to Japan than I am to China.
