I have been debating about what to name my site for a long time now. (Let's face it. "Chrissy's Home Page" IS pretty boring.)
Why the new name?!
I knew I wanted something original, but had a hard time coming up with anything that fit... I'd been thinking about "Dojo" for a long time, and really liked it, but still wasn't sure if it fit.
--Dojo means *Sacred hall of learning* in Japanese; although it is usually used in refrence to martial arts. So technically, I suppose it *kind of* fits.
More than anything, though, I just really love the word. I'm fascinated with Japanese culture, so I guess it shows that side of me as well.
As far as any *meaning* behind the new name, I guess there really isn't any... well, maybe "Chrissy's Sacred Hall of Learning"
Anyway, I just really love the word Dojo, and so far I really love the new name for my site. (Hope you do too!)
