I am working on Magick Without Tears. While converting the material to HTML, I found that I had dropped the class attribute for many of the pages. In case you were wondering why there was a hard to read white text on black & a much easier to read white text on grey, now you know. I will be updating pages and uploading them until I get them all fixed. It will just happen, I won't announce each page.

Updated site. Corrected minor glitches and prepared for future updates. Also moving images locally as I no longer wish to use photobucket for my images. You probably won't notice much for this update, but almost everything has changed a little bit.
Thelemic Dates are provided courtesy of LAShTAL's Thelemic Time Server.
Removed all affiliations and webrings. I kept the Mystic Site of the Web Award of Excellence even though it seems to be a malware site these days. It was my first award and I still remember it fondly.

Added Liber Trigrammaton sub figura XXVII to the Crowley Page. This book is interesting for various reasons, the first is that this is Crowley's own attempt at creating the "order & value of the English Alphabet." Another is that this book helps in showing the relationship of Thelema to Taoism, continuing the symbolism started with Crowley's versions of the Tao Teh Ching and the Yi Ching. I hope you enjoy it.

I have added some essays to the Various Interesting Texts page. Specifically, a definition of Cultural Hegemony, and three entries from Wikipedia on Historicism, Dialectic & Dialectical Materialism. I hope you enjoy them.
A valid question would be why I repeat this information on my web site. I have several answers (always beware the action which has only one reason supporting it). The first is that I do not trust other web sites to maintain their existence of page order, so in order to ensure that the material that I think is important is constantly & consistently available, I recreate it on my web site, usually with a link back to the original site. Now I realize that Wikipedia is probably here to stay, but my innate paranoia and experiences from the earlier days of the World Wide Web (circa 1995) are hard to overcome. Plus, the Wiki might be updated & if so, I may not like the new material as well. We will see.
A second reason is that I spend a lot of time on the aesthetics of my site. External links invariably are designed around another aesthetic and the results can be jarring. Hopefully, my aesthetic is conducive to passing on the information to at least the same degree as the originating site.
Thirdly, and I recognize that this is tangential to the second reason, I am selfish. I want you to stay on my site. An external link releases the viewer so that they might become engrossed in the foreign site (this is especially a problem with sites like Wikipedia) that they forget to return.
I hope you enjoy
AL I,40. Who calls us Thelemites will do no wrong, if he look but close into the word. For there are therein Three Grades, the Hermit, and the Lover, and the man of Earth. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

I finally created the Reading List I promised back when I first recreated this web site (approximately three years ago). It includes sections on understanding Class dynamics & Social Structures that were openly acknowledged a century ago (& are still in effect today behind the scenes), Sociology & related theory (the analysis & growth of groups) so that one may understand Thelemic groupings, The A∴A∴ Reading List, Tradition (primarily focused on the works of Guenon & Evola), Magick & Thelema, Philosophy, and Gnosticism. I have also included two lists for my personal deities, Lilith & Mithras. Note that these lists only contain books that I have read & recommend, and are not complete (especially in the case of Magick & Thelema, Tradition, Lilith and Philosophy). As books make it from my "Need to Read" pile to my "Have Read" pile, the lists will be updated. I have also included links to purchase the books on Barnes & Noble (via their affiliate program).
AL II,05. Behold! the rituals of the old time are black. Let the evil ones be cast away; let the good ones be purged by the prophet! Then shall this Knowledge go aright.

Not to many visible changes, but all of the images are now coming from my Photobucket account. This should free things up a bit for more text files. I am having grandiose plans again. Anyway, some broken links, and some which I decided just weren't really worth sharing, have been removed. I reorganized the Writings & Rituals section, in preparation for my adding texts from a very long & large list I have. I also am using more HTML 4.0x entities, so I can get rid of those clunky graphics I was using for the Greek letters & for the "∴"character. Someday, perhaps, I will finally be able to get rid of that ugly Tzaddi in Liger AL. You may also notice that I am moving to Thelemic Dating on the News entries, & I plan on also adding a random AL verse, courtesy of Robin's Cal93.

Made several minor corrections, hopefully all the links work properly now. Fixed the picture for Zagreus Project & corrected the email address. Apologies to anyone who attempted to contact me & received a bounced message.

Well, I have been putting my unemployment to good use. Among other things, I have begun work on updating my websites. Hopefully you will enjoy the new simplified look.
