On this page I would like to talk about something very serious,

In "The Craft" there are three necessities which you need
to control not only the forces and elements you are working with,
but also to insure that what you attempt does not come back to
harm you.

Emotion
You have to have the need for what you desire.
The Knowledge of how to perform the "rite" correctly and
the emotion to have it be carried out.
Magik should be worked for positive results and effects
NEVER negative results or effects.
Magik performed for yourself is not selfish,
for it betters the world.

As often as possible hold rituals outside but if you can't then hold them
in a place that is well scented.

Seek out wisdom in books and cryptic poems if you will, but seek it also
in stones and trees, herbs and the cries of the animals for it is here that
the secrets are preserved.

Books contain words; trees contain energies and wisdom books never dreamt
of.

Ever remember that the old ways are constantly revealing themselves to
us. Those that remain changeless will out live their spirit but those who
evolve and grow will shine for centuries.

Hold back not what knowledge you possess from those who seek to learn our
ways. But keep back our ways from those who seek to bring us ill will for
you may give unto their hands the power of destruction.

Mock not the rites or spells of another for who is to say that yours are
better.

Ensure all that you do is for the good, for all that you do shall return
threefold both good and bane.

Beware of those who would control you or your workings. True reverence
for the goddess and god occur from within. Beware of those who would use
your worship for their gain but take in any priest or priestess who is
filled with love.

Destroy not any of nature for we are of it all; save it be to preserve your
own life.

The power shall not be used to harm, to injure or to control others. But
if the need arises, the Power shall be used to protect both you and yours.

The power is used only as need dictates.

The Power can be use for your own gain as long as it harms none in the
process.

It is unwise to except money for the use of the power, for it quickly controls
its taker. Be not as those of other religions.

Use not the power for prideful gain, for such cheapens the mysteries of
the magik.

Ever remember that the power is the sacred gift of the goddess and god,
and should never be misused or abused.
