I will walk down the street tomorrow or maybe next week.

I will look into the faces of strangers It shall be your face I shall see.

I will wonder where you are in this world. I will wonder if you think of me.

I will remember you.

Someday, I will be gathering
flowers the wind will caress my skin. I will brush my hand where the wind just caressed.

I will remember you.
I will wake from a dream of you the image of your face fading with the morning light.

Were you only an illusion in my mind? You brought more to my life than anyone real to my touch ever has. I will close my eyes once again.

I will remember you.
One day a long time from now. I will be sitting quietly somewhere the lines of time etched on my face. I will think about all of the moments of the past.
