		"barefoot"

burgandy velvets
and the band played on
strumming through
the rhythms of my soul
i had quite forgotten
the words of it all
but i could always
dance
and now as the lights
are going down
i look around
i am alone
heard them say once
you stand on your own
but my legs never felt so 
weak
so i walk the streets
so quiet now
as they've all gone down
to bed
the demons danced for
all night long
but i already forgot
what they said
