i dreamed of you today
like the single glitter on my bed
shining and unreal upon my sheets
brightness in the light of my darkness
though i feel your shadows as my own
(and am not afraid)
the taste of your lips and skin
are all that matter
as i drown in a sea of emotion
nothing like despair
my tears come.
and over again we come together
the endless desire
comfort in your arms
even more beautiful with your shining hair
and amazing eyes
caught up in my mesh and flannel
darkness embracing you
as she loves you as deeply as i
silver claws, velvet shadows
only draw me closer still
no fear of pain
and the promise of beautiful oblivion
in your smile.
