thank you
for all that you've given me
the world
through love and rage
i've seen
the darkest sorrows and the brightest joys
i've heard
peels of raindrop laughter
the torrent of stormy cries
thank you
for the pain and the triumph
moments frozen for eternity
i still taste
the salt of my tears and sweat
iron sweetness of my blooded saliva
remember the warmth of love
remember the cold of hate
in everything you do
i am there.
i will never forget
you called me wise
