i loved you so much
but you never loved me
keeping me distant
like an old memory
ever so fondly
you looked behind
whenever i walked in your wake
though never in time
and now i'm still lonely
lost in a dream
where everything changes
nothing is as it seems
i will keep walking
it's all i can do
for i will always seek out
a little love from you
though i'll never have it
you always have known
i was never quite like you
and now you have flown
