		"purple velvets"

deep, deep down in the darkness
of my oblivion...
i sink into the soft uncaring of
the music in my soul
red sunset inside my room
black and purple tiny lights against
the tapestry of the night
soft chenille beneath my fingers
smooth cotton under my hair
a sea of green foam supports my body
as the tendrils of my hair
move in the wind...
and the dark red i longed to see
on my walls
has painted with my skin
and compliments my dress
