I'm glad
you got through all this
the pain
the isolation
It feels good
to know
that somehow
things work out right

And I smile
when I think
about where you are
and how you got there
But on top of all this
I hope, I pray, somehow
you're not happy


After all of it
I know
life is always unfair
But I don't have to
like it
As I try hard
not to care
