		'the last day'

my heart is full of sorrow
blue like the ocean
and forever as deep
cold and fluid
moving around me
as i close my eyes
and let myself go

beneath the waves
there is calm
no noise and only beauty
the sunlight
filtering down
the moving of the current
by the moon

i dream of drifting along
in its flow
passing forever by
within its tides
sinking deeper and deeper
my eyes closed
my heart opened

and my soul at ease
