Always

Once upon the time, there lived creatures of dark and evil in forms
of human. There existed a foul beast feared by gods and worshiped by
monsters.

Its blood-thrist and merciless nature brought
sky-full of monsters under its control.

Gods feared the growth of it's strength and it's army of Million
Monsters. Finally, the gods delcared a war to confine its power.

Despite human aid, gods did not stand a chance against the countless Milion Monsters. On the very night before the final battle to wipe out the highest temple of gods, the beast locked itself in the forbidden tower of its castle. It wondered, "How did gods find out about my lady, my only precious being?" This lady was born human in a small village right out side of Dragonia, the beast's birthplace. Despit all the evil spirits roaming around Dragonia, this one was innocent. Sensing her distinguishingly pure aura, no monsters dared to harm her. In their desperate attempt to overturn the flow of this battle and eventually the war, gods appointed the lady as the Goddess of Illusion, and relegated her to defend their headquarter. By the break of dawn, the beast and its army headed to the god's highest emple. Injured and frightened gods' army was no match for the Million Monsters. There stood the goddess lady innocently sucked into the scheme of gods who only pretended to be virtuous. The beast knew that the Million Monsters was already unstoppable, even by the fearsome beast itself. Monsters surrounded the lady. The beast realized that it was the end. Gargoyles slashed, chimeras unleashed thunder storms, and dragons enflamed their only enemy standing. It was over................. or so everyone thought. When smokes of the fierce attack uncovered the scene, monsters found the body of their leader, the merciless tyrant of the Million Monsters. The beast used its body as a shield to pretect the precious one. The lady was startled and her eyes were examining the beast with awe and perplexity. The beast closed its eyes, and with a sudden flash of light, its body evaporated. Without a leader, even the invincible Million Monsters diffused into sky. That was the end of the war. Ironically, gods took all the credit for triump over the Million Monsters. The lady, later, discovered an item from the site where the beast disappeared. A slate with words engraved on. It read,
Annie, The name I would call a hundred times. Thousands of whispers I would repeat Just to realize I want to whisper a million more. The face and the smile that restore me With vigor and joy. The smell that dances around me And dazes me With the wind of romance. The source of my happiness I love staying around. The deepest part of my heart I nevevr thought possible Of sharing with anyone. The lady I will miss and seek 'Till the last piece of my soul Leaves my bones. -My Dearest Annie-
The slate was still warm as if the beast soul was alive in the slate waiting for a day that it comes back to life to deliver a phrase it might've tried to deliver.
