Random Copper Country Scenery

This is my home away from home page, so to speak. I first went to the Copper Country in 1989 to visit the campus of Michigan Tech University and ended up going there in the fall of 1990. I've been in love with the area ever since. I don't live there at the moment, but sometimes I wish I did.

I secured this web space to display my work on one of the Copper Country's more interesting historical features, the steel dam in Redridge along with the other structures in that town which sprang out of the stamp mills that were operating there at the turn of the century. That work is still here of course, but a majority of the website has morphed into a photographic tour of the UP where I display pictures I've taken on my many trips up there. At current count, there are over 200 photos here and more are coming in the future.
