They say the NET is going to be the information highway that
will take us into the next millenium. Myself I think Lewis
Carroll had the right write here in his book "Through the Looking Glass &
What Alice Saw There." The Red Queen says to Alice about their
run across the chess board, "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you
can do, to keep in the same place."
From my viewpoint I see information accumulating at an
exponential rate and information systems are running as fast as they can to keep
up. As this rate the NET may well be history by the time we reach
the millenium in 2001. But strangely many users have come to
expect this change. Still waters do not run true for them, but
stand stale.
So in my own modest way I offer you these links to keep you
from sliding back a square or two. I can't guarantee them to be
the newest of the new.
