Brethren as we progress into this Masonic year there are many things that the lodge needs your help in accomplishing. In the near future we are planning a fund raiser to help with the expenses of the lodge. This fund raiser is a combined yard sale and bar-b-que to be held at our Lodge, 6203 W. Little York on Saturday the 22nd of August from 11am until 3:30pm. I am soliciting donations to purchase the brisket, sausage and accomplisments to make this a success. the cost of the briskets will run about $10.00 each. Any and all the help you can give to this project will be greatly appreciated by your Lodge. Also for the yard sale we need saleable items. If you have anything at all that you can donate please bring it to the Lodge. If you are unable to bring it to the Lodge call me at 281-537-1694 and I will make arrangements to pick them up. All donations are gratefully accepted and appreciated and will go towards the upkeep of the Lodge so that our Lodge may continue to be financially solvent. Also at the August Stated Meeting we will have a program dedicated to the history of our Lodge, which will be 50 years old. It was chartered in December 1948. it was put to labor under dispensation in August 1948. It should be a very informative evening. It will be done in open lodge so bring your wives and family and have dinner with us. There will be other programs throughout the Masonic year. I am looking forward to serving our lodge and will do my very best to have things of interest during my year as Worshipful Master. Hope to see you at the Lodge.
