Not many have taken the survey as yet, but I hope more of you will be inspired to vote for your favorite Arthurian books, movies, and characters now that I have some early results in. It's easy to vote-- just sign my guestbook and take the survey at the same time! Results will be updated as votes come in. Favorite Arthurian Novel   The Mists of Avalon is leading with 6 votes The Once and Future King now has 4 votes! The following books have one vote each,  proving that Arthurians are very diverse in their tastes: Firelord Sword at Sunset A Dream of Eagles (The series) The Winter King The Crystal Cave Anything about Guinevere (That's what he/she said!) Cornwall's Trilogy There is also one vote for a poem "The Lady of Shalott"

   

Favorite Knight   Sir Lancelot:  9 votes and leading so far Sir Tristan and Sir Gareth now have 2 votes each The knights below each have one vote: Sir Gawain Sir Galaad  (I don't know if they just misspelled Galahad or not) Sir Accolon Sir Parsival Sir Kay The Green Knight Caius Merlyn Brittanicus

   

Favorite Lady   Queen Guinevere is leading with 6 votes Morgaine/ Morgan/ Morganna has 4 votes (are these different characters or not??) Elaine has 2 votes now as does Morgan Le Fay Ladies with one vote: Isolde Caillean The Lady of the Lake Vivienne

   

Favorite Character    Merlin is way ahead with 8 votes King Arthur, Morgaine and  Morgan Le Fay each have 2 votes (Come on guys, vote for Arthur!) The following each have one vote: Queen Guinevere Sir Gareth Sir Gwaine Sir Kay

   

Favorite Movie or Play   Excalibur and Camelot are now tied  with 5 votes apeice First Knight has 2 votes The rest have one vote: Merlin Pendragon Lancelot of the Lake The Sword in the Stone Monte Python and the Holy Grail and a double entry for Wagner's Tristan and Isolde/ Birtwistle's Gawain (Someone couldn't make up their mind)

   

Arthur, Man or Myth?  Nine voters now say they believe Arthur was a man Seven voters said they belive Arthur is a little of both. Two said he was only a myth. One said "Does it matter?"
