"Have you Met my Daughter?" written June 1, 1998

Hello
Have you met my duaghter?
Shock, bewilderment amazement.

What did this man just say?
What did he just do?
It has never happened before.

Collect yourself now.
Collect yourself and respond.
"No I haven't."

Holy Moly, I wish I had though.
Nice greeting, name, Social Security Number...
Stop that and shake the lady's hand.

Dufus, stop the shake.
Right, Wow, Wow, Wo...
Stop that and talk, dream later.

It started with that phrase so often ridiculed:
"So, have you met my daughter?"
"This young man did ... ... "

What? She said yes? Whippee!
Have you met my daughter?
I still can't believe he said that.
