"Ohh to be a Renaissance Man" written April 20, 1998

So they say you are so talented.
In all aspects you shine.
Many subjects balancéd,
Mind and body in line.
To you I send my Congratulations.
Far off still goes your plan.
Felicitous Salutations
O wondrous Renaissance Man.

The Art of Science I wish I had.
Your Statement shows me better.
This still I am indifferent.
Of art, I am it's debtor.
For this escapes me fast and free.
Music dances roound my feet.
Not any Physical in me.
In Science, Math the twain do meet.

Ohh to be a Renaissance Man
with skill straight to the core.
Ohh to be a Renaissance Man,
Could I ever ask for more?
Straight edgéd science beckons me,
And often Math I ponder.
Uneven shores of art I see,
The place I want to wander.
