"The Fascination of the Abomination" written June 5, 1998
Conrad mentioned- "They were men enough to face the darkness."
But how man enough were they really?
What part of a man entails manhood?
What part or time makes a woman enter womanhood?
Are we all just fascinated with the "pursuit of a pursuit forever",
Finding the time when men go at things differently.
This time that some search for
When people change their hoods in.
Childhood to manhood or womanhood.
Many coloréd hoods held high in the light.
Proud to be innnocence and face only the night.
Happy to turn away from the day, light, happiness.
This is our fascination, our wonderment, it is true.
Massachism inherent, in all that we look for.
We find and look for the time when good is lost
When the Abomination is completely complete.
What enjoyment we have when we see this go.
It is our curse, the fascination of the abomination.
