"Starla" written as a lyrical poem May 3, 1998
In from this world of darkness and pain
I came with abandonment of all that I am.
To this place of refuge, I go and drain
My wounds of sorrow, emotional drain.
I sought your release from all that pains me.
I seek your refuge, Starla my sweet.
I got your love dear, you are all that I see.
I miss you dear Starla and all your love's heat.
Returned from my labors, our home was cold.
No fire was burning I was too late.
The love I had given grew dark and cold.
My long absence turned love into hate.
I sought your release from all that pains me.
I seek your refuge, Starla my sweet.
I got your love dear, you are all that I see.
I miss you dear Starla and all your love's heat.
I go now to search for you, Starla
Wherever your are, I wish I had known.
Fonder I grew and further you left, Starla.
I search for you, edges of Earth I've flown.
I sought your release from all that pains me.
I seek your refuge, Starla my sweet.
I got your love dear, you are all that I see.
I miss you dear Starla and all your love's heat.
I sought your release from all that pains me.
I seek your refuge, Starla my sweet.
I got your love dear, you are all that I see.
I miss you dear Starla and all your love's heat.
