CONTEST INTRODUCTION:
Write an essay completing the following phrase: "I would be the perfect guest at Tom and Dearbhla's home in Ireland because..."
Enter as many times as you desire, but all entries must conform to the following criteria:
- Essays must contain at least 200 words.
- Essays must be original.
- Submissions must adhere to the Contest Rules.
CONTEST RULES:
- Essays must contain at least 200 words (including the introductory phrase).
- Entries must be submitted electronically to the O'Leary's E-Mail Account, with "Contest Entry" as the Subject.
- Entries must be received NO LATER THAN 31 July, 1999.
- Entries must be original.
- Essays must be submitted in the English language.
- Contestants must be at least 18 years of age.
PRIZE DESCRIPTION:
- 7 Days/Nights FREE Room and Board for Winner and thier guest.
- Welcome Reception at Shannon Airport.
- Transportation from/to Shannon Airport.
- Digital Photo(s) of Winner in Ireland sent to Family and Friends via e-mail.
- First Round of GUINNESS (or preference) on the house.
**WINNER will be announced on or about September 1st, 1999.
JUDGING CRITERIA:
Entries will be judged on the following criteria:
- Creativity
- Originality
- Style
- Content
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The following Terms and Conditions should be read and understood by all contestants:
- The O'Learys reserve the right to cancel contest at any time.
- Judges' decision will be final and not contested.
- Transportation to/from Ireland is the responsibility of THE CONTESTANT.
- Prize may be redeemed on any agreeable date between The O'Learys and the Contest Winner; but not before March 1st, 2000.
- All expenses, other than those expressed in the Prize Description will be borne by the Contest Winner.
- Contestants shall agree to have their essay posted on the O'Leary Home Page.
