This work discusses the adolescent's perceptions about the "being" in the school. They were indicated by their teachers for a psychological accompaniment in 1995. These pupils presented behavior problems characterized as "indiscipline". This group was composited by adolescents of 12-15 years old and was divided into two subgroups: those who frequented the 5th and 6th grades and those who frequented the 7th and 8th grades. The initial activity developed with the pupils characterized the perceptions which they had about the school. Thus, we requested them to make a picture about the school. The analysis of pictures (realized with the pupils) indicated two feelings: 1) the school was seen like one place of "imprisonment" and "disciplinary"; and 2) the pictures expressed "solitude", the school was felt like a space which is permeated by difficulties in the establishment of ties. Such analysis suggest us that the school isn't connected whit adolescent's problems. To overcome this situations we should assure collective spaces (with teacher and pupils) for deeper discussion about the social mechanisms implicited in the school relations. This can produce one "new look" over the adolescent behavior as well as over the process involved in the apprehension of scholastic contents.
