Hi, this is my suggested reading list, the books listed here are all books I have read myself and can recommend to those interested in the REAL EGYPT! (however I do not own them : HINT if your library is poorly stocked
ask about inter-library loan networks?!)
This is a GENERAL reading list - there are two other separate lists
which will deal with books on Egyptian language and religion

KEEPER OF GENESIS A Quest for the Hidden Legacy of Mankind
Heinemann London 1996
These two parahistorians tend to revise their theories every couple of years but nevertheless as a trained experienced and professional engineer who's worked in middle eastern climactic conditions Bauval's ideas and speculations about building the pyramid are of interest.

An excellent read and reference source but sinc ethis was written of the international year of women it would have been good if they've used a female egyptologist - what there are no senior Egyptian female egpytologists yet?
