The Shell Game

			See a sage by the sea shore
			Standing beside sea shells.
			The sage says with huckster style,
			"Select a sea shell, any sea shell!
			Slide the sea shell 
			Over your shell-like ear 
			And hear my sermon-sounds!"

			See Sam by the sea shore
			Shaking sand from a sea shell.
			Sam slides the sea shell
			Over his shell-like ear and stands.
			Says Sam to the sage,
			"Sage, this sea shell
			Shares no sermon-sounds."

			The sage, slightly smiling,
			Sees Sam by the sea shore.
			Sam shakes sea shell sand
			From his shell-like ear,
			Searching sibling sea shells
			For the sage's sermon-sounds.
			Sam searches, but sighs in surrender.

			The sage by the sea shore
			Selects a sea shell saying,
			"Sliding these sea shells
			Over your shell-like ear
			Shushes your soul-
 			Speaking from surrounding surf.
			These are my sermon-sounds."
