Byron's Friend

Byron, one of our Clan's founding members, has a small problem. You see, he has made a friend in Astaria that he wishes he had never met.

The Hooded Stranger is a monster that is actually a Vampire. He is one of the harder monsters in Astaria to defeat. He also is one of the most popular monsters to fight because of the loot he gives when you do manage to kill him.

Clerics are quite adept at killing undead, and Stranger particularily. But, for some unknown, unfathomable reason, Byron seems to have a problem with killing Stranger. Below are some of his more memorable meetings with this horrendous monster.....

Stranger howls in triumph at the death of Byron (Adventurer)!

Stranger towers over the corpse of Byron (Adventurer)!

Stranger's grinning face drips with the entrails of Byron (Adventurer)!

Stranger brutally kills Byron (Adventurer)!

Stranger dances on the grave of Byron (Adventurer)!

These deaths are usually proceeded on the Clan line by some of the following quotes....

Byron is probably the only Astarian who is very adept at levelling backwards.
