ADMISSIONS POLICIES
REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
The following are required by the Board of Admissions of the Mary Help of Christians College Seminary to an applicant who may wish to gain admission to the MHCCS: - The applicant must apply personally to the Board of Admissions of the Mary Help of Christians College Seminary. He should bring with him the following:
- Letter of Application addressed to the REV. FR. RECTOR.
- Letter of Recommendation from his Parish Priest.
- Report Card or the grades of the immediate semester last attended.
- The applicant must pass the Written Examination to be given by the Board of Admissions. The Written Examination is administered every Saturday at 8:30 AM starting March until the second week of May 2000.
- The passing of the Written Examination is a prerequisite for the applicant to be interviewed by the Board of Admissions.
- If there is a need for further tests and interviews, the applicant will be informed of these.
APPLICANT'S QUALIFICATIONS
The apllicant must have the following as prerequisite for admissions:
- He must have a good moral character, a mature outlook of life with a sincere desire to become a priest.
- He must be a High School graduate. Applicants who have taken some years of college education are to be taken in on a case-to-case basis.
- He must have a good health, both physical and mental.
- He must have a good academic background with at least a general average of 85%.
