A recently-formed class of young adults. Various people share the leadership. Currently reviewing a book, What Paul Really Said About Women, by John Temple Bristow. The class is for couples and singles. We hope to plan some sports events and mission projects.
Friends in Faith Class ....................................................................... basement
Led by Deb Gable Pauley. We begin with a 9-week Bible study by Max Lucado on I Peter. The class is a combination of age groups. Whatever your faith level, you are welcome. Officers are Susie Harro (president), Lee Ann Strine (secretary), and Jeff Pauley (treasurer).
Young Faith Class ................................................................ Chapel, first floor
Led by Linda Houseal. Studying Galatians, The Sermon on the Mount, and I John, among other issues. We sell subs about four times a year as a fund raiser. We also have an ice cream party, a Christmas dinner, a summer picnic and occasional dinner plays. Officers are Fred Wolfe (president), Gordon Greiss (vice-president), and Doris Snyder (secretary/treasurer). All are welcome.
Roy Grove Class ....................................................... fellowship hall, first floor
Teaching responsibilities are rotated among class members. Currently studying Parables from the Back Side, by J. Ellsworth Kalas. We also view 5-6 Christian videos each year. The class is comprised of senior men--but young at heart. Try us.
Semper Fidelis Class .................................................. fellowship hall, first floor
Led by Pastor Bonnie Whittier. A women's class. We are a caring, sharing group. This year's subject is on prayer. All are welcome.
Golden Age of Faith (fellowship) ................................ fellowship hall, first floor
This is an organization of seniors 55 years of age and older. Meetings are normally held the 4th Friday of the month. Meetings consist of devotions, business and entertainment. There is also a picnic and corn roast. This is a relaxed way to meet people and get to know one another. There is also a game of "500" the 2nd Wednesday of each month. The travel committee arranges six or seven trips, including dinner theaters. The group makes and serves casseroles at the soup kitchen in York, and delivers "Meals on Wheels." Growth Group (Bible Study/fellowship) ...................................... meets in homes
A gathering of people, meeting once a month, for fellowship and to grow spiritually together. Each meeting consists of Bible study, prayer and discussion on how to apply the Scriptures to their daily lives. The meeting is a time to relax and enjoy Christian company outside of church.
