I first heard about homeschooling from a family we met at a chinese buffet.  I like what I've heard and wanted to get additional information.  I started checking out library books, searching on the internet and seeking support on mailing lists.

        My children are 4 and 1 yo.  I cannot say that they are gifted and am not sure whether I belong in this group.  Time will tell and in the meanwhile, I'll stick around.

        The first time I've learned about homeschooling, I was all for curriculum and was unwary about unschooling.  Now I am more in favor of unschooling for my children.  I don't know what to expect and am walking on faith that children will learn.  A leap of faith that requires a lot of reading on my part to unschool myself from my original belief what school is supposed to be.
